One day Lee Corso won’t be sitting on the set of College GameDay, shaking his pencil, laughing with Kirk and putting on mascot heads.
But let’s not think about that right now.
Because right now, Corso is doing all those things, and it’s wonderful for the game. He’s gone from a great coach, to a great broadcaster to an icon for the sport. He’s turned the phrase “not so fast” into part of the sport’s national language, and his headgear picks are the high point of each show.
If you aren’t thankful that we have Lee Corso as a part of this game, please check your pulse and make sure the color of your heart isn’t black.
