7. Traditions

When you think about college football, you think about the traditions.

Traditional uniforms, traditional cheers, traditional songs, traditional foods…there is a ritual involved in just about everything relating to your school and the game.

What would college football be without these traditions? Let’s not find out. Keep doing all the things that have been passed down from generation to generation, and keep the traditions of the game alive. For every team like Oregon that wants to change uniforms at halftime each week, there are teams like Penn State and Alabama who refuse to budge from their traditional attire.

There are traditions surrounding nearly every program, and learning them as a child and carrying them on makes the game fun and brings fan bases closer together.
