6. Michigan vs. Ohio State (aka: The Game)
It doesn’t matter where you went to school or for whom you cheer, you know about “The Game”, you know about Michigan vs. Ohio State, and you know how much this game means to college football.
It doesn’t always have national championship (or even Big Ten title) implications, sometimes its just bragging rights for two teams who hate each other with an unparalleled passion. But it’s important on a level that sets the tone for rivalries all over the nation.
The Game is played between two of the oldest programs in the nation and in two of the nation’s biggest stadiums. The list of players and coaches who have emerged both winners and losers in this contest is an impressive lineup indeed.
It means more to Michigan and Ohio State fans than anyone else, but its one of those games that fans all over the nation peek at the score to see what’s happening, even if they deny doing so.
