8. Memphis Tigers – Mike Norvell replaces Justin Fuente

Memphis knew they were going to lose Fuente after this year after he led the Tigers to 10 wins last year and were in the top 25 for much of the 2015 season before faltering in November and his work developing Paxton Lynch into a likely first-round quarterback.

And I think Memphis found the “next Justin Fuente” in former Arizona State Sun Devils offensive coordinator Mike Norvell. At 34, Norvell is the youngest head coach in the FBS. He’s an offensive innovator who should continue to produce high-powered offenses at Memphis and don’t be surprised if Norvell is a hot commodity for a Power Five job in three years.

Norvell goes to a program who hasn’t had much success, but there are players to recruit in the area and when he gets a quarterback, look out, because this team will compete for conference championships.
