20. North Texas – Seth Littrell replaces Dan McCarney

North Texas only one game this year so this is a tough job to inherit after Dan McCarney was let go in the middle of the year. McCarney had a 22-32 record during his time in North Texas, so you can win there, but it’s going to take a massive turnaround for first-time head coach Seth Littrell.

Littrell comes to North Texas from North Carolina where he was the offensive coordinator for the Tar Heels the last two years. He remade quarterback Marquise Williams and has led them to the ACC Championship Game behind an offense averaging 41.3 points per game, the 11th best scoring average in the nation.

He’s previously been the offensive coordinator at Indiana and Arizona and was an assistant at Texas Tech after his playing career ended at Oklahoma.
