Popeyes Bahamas Bowl
Middle Tennessee vs. Western Michigan
Nassau, Bahamas | Robinson National Stadium
Dec. 24, Noon on ESPN
If you’re watching this game you have to either be a big fan of one of the two teams involved or you want to see some beautiful scenery. Other than that…
MTSU coming in out of Conference-USA at 7-5 and Western Michigan coming in at 7-5 out of the MAC has all the makings of two teams who probably would be watching from the sofa 10 years ago. Both team scored over 34 points per game this season, and neither were able to hold opponents to less than 25 points.
Last one with the ball wins? One thing Middle Tennessee can do is throw the ball pretty well, and Western Michigan had their troubles stopping the pass. Weather tolerance edge in the heat and humidity to MTSU.
Line: W. Michigan, -3
Western Michigan has provided us with some interesting bowl games in the past, but the Blue Raiders came on strong late in the season. Take MTSU to beat any spread and win.
