2015 Bowl Games: Picking all 41 college bowls and championship game against the spread

You have to like what Chris Petersen is doing at Washington, and the Huskies’ end of season blowout of rival Washington State was quite the statement. A game in the Cotton Bowl will be a nice showcase for the youngest team in the FBS.

Southern Miss has a good team, but struggled against quality opponents this season. It’s clear that Conference-USA has a long way to go before they catch up with some of the other Group of Five leagues. They’ll find playing in this game will be as tough as any they’ve had this season.

Line: Washington, -8.5

Seems like a big spread, but honestly the difference between a middle Pac-12 team and a top C-USA team is huge. Also, Chris Petersen loves bowl games. Huskies cover, and then some.
