New Era Pinstripe Bowl
Indiana vs. Duke
Bronx, New York | Yankee Stadium
Dec. 26, 3:30 p.m. on ABC
Still can’t get used to this whole “bowl game in Yankee Stadium” thing, but it is pretty cool. As for the teams, here are two traditional basketball powers who suddenly are making noise on the gridiron.
Good for you, Indiana and Duke.
Both teams play solid offense, scoring over 30 points per game, and Duke plays decent defense, while Indiana is atrocious, allowing a bloated 37 points per game. That should make the Blue Devils’ mouths water.
The Blue Devils are a very balanced offense, and have the ability to hang on to the ball and run the clock, or strike quickly when needed. It could be a very long afternoon for this Hoosier defense, who surrenders a whopping 507 yards per game.
Line: Indiana, -2
I sense some Big Ten love or ACC hate going on in Vegas. Duke should really put this game away early. Take the Devils to beat that spread.
