It seems as though The Peach State is full of talent, and five-star prospect Derrick Brown would certainly fit into that category. Tallying 26 offers in total, many programs were able to recognize the talent that he has. Georgia, in particular, is a team that would really value what he brings to the table, and in the run-heavy SEC, he could give them that extra boost that would allow the ‘Dawgs to reach the top. I would not be surprised if he joined Kirby Smart and company on Signing Day.

Brown is a multi-faceted defensive tackle. He has the ability to make solid tackles and his pass-rushing ability is second-to-none. He shows tremendous quickness and explodes off the line of scrimmage as soon as he ball is snapped. He can give them a big body that can stop the rushing attack, and give them athleticism at the tackle position.

Georgia already several commitments from defensive tackles in the form of five-star commit Julian Rochester (Powder Springs Ga. McEachern) and another pledge from three-star defensive tackle Tyler Clark (Americus Sumter County South. Americus, GA), and a commitment from Brown would certainly give Georgia a boost. With his ability to make solid tackles and breeze past lineman, he should be an impact player as soon he steps on the field.

Prediction: Georgia

Next: No. 1 Rashan Gary
