National Signing Day 2016: Predicting where top 30 uncommitted recruits sign
25. Terrell Hall
- Location/High School: Washington D.C./St. John’s College
- 247Sports Composite Rank: No. 77
- 247Sports Position Rank: No. 5 WDE
After decommitting from Ohio State in August, four-star defensive end Terrell Hall is back on the market. Alabama is the favorite to land Hall, as they look to restock following their national championship victory on January 11.
The Crimson Tide 2016 class looks very strong, especially defensively. Four-star tackles Kendell Jones (Killeen, TX. Shoemaker), Raekwon Davis (Meridian. MS. Meridian), and Quinnen Williams (Birmingham AL. Wenonah School) are the types of players that can anchor your defensive line. Currently, the Tide boast the No. 8 class in the country, which is good enough for No. 5 in the talented SEC per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
One asset that Hall has is quickness. As soon as he comes off the line, he can shed blocks with ease. He is particularly effective at stopping the run, something that should help continue a trend for the Crimson Tide as they ranked No. 3 in the country in total defense and were No. 1 in the country in run defense with only 74 rushing yards allowed per contest.
Fresh off a national championship I think the Tide will land Hall. He complements the other pieces in the class very well. He would be a great piece for Alabama as they continue the reloading process.
Prediction: Alabama
