The first draft of this list had Auburn running back Jovon Robinson ranked in the mid-60s with Peyton Barber listed in the early 40s. However, Barber – who let the Tigers with 1,017 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns – made a surprise decision to declare for the NFL Draft following his third-year sophomore campaign.

Robinson might have been able to unseat Barber as the starter anyway, but the rising senior is now the clear-cut favorite to carry to be head coach Gus Malzahn’s primary ball carrier in 2016 – and he is poised to put up big numbers.

A five-star signee out of junior college in the 2015 signing class, Robinson was hampered by injuries early in the season and only recorded four combined carries across Auburn’s first seven games last season. However, as Robinson got healthier, Barber battled his own injuries, and Robinson emerged as the team’s top option over its final six contests. Over that period, Robinson averaged more than 100 yards per game and scored three touchdowns.
