Lined up on the opposite end from All-American Myles Garrett, Daeshon Hall introduced himself to the nation with seven tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles in the 2015 season opener against Arizona State. The performance earned Hall a nod as the SEC Defensive Player of the Week and set the stage for one of the Se’s top breakout performances.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Hall followed his impressive debut with 10.5 more TFLs and three more sacks over the course of the season and finished alongside Garrett in the top ten in the league in both categories. Only Alabama’s Jonathan Allen and Tim Williams (22.5 combined sacks) got to the quarterback more often than Hall and Garrett.

Thanks in large part to the elite pass rush provided by Hall and Garrett, Texas A&M allowed an average of just 155.5 passing yards in conference games in 2015 – best in the league.
