Drew Morgan 2015 Season Statistics

  • Games Played: 13
  • Receptions: 63
  • Receiving Yardage: 843
  • Yards Per Catch: 13.4
  • Receiving Yards Per Game: 64.8
  • Receiving Touchdowns: 10
  • Notable: Tied for second in the SEC with ten TD receptions in 2015 – most among players returning in 2016.

One of the most unexpected breakout performances in the SEC in 2015 belonged to Arkansas wide receiver Drew Morgan, who improved from ten receptions, 181 yards and one touchdown as a sophomore to 63 receptions, 843 receiving yards and ten TDs as a junior – all of which ranked in the top ten in the conference.

Listed at 6-foot and 195 pounds, Morgan isn’t as big or as explosive as fellow Top 100 wideout Dominique Reed. However, Morgan stepped into the shoes of injured receiver Keon Hatcher – who missed the final 11 games of the season after notching 198 receiving yards and two scores in the first two contests – and provided a consistent option alongside Mackey Award winning tight end Hunter Henry in the Razorbacks’ passing game.

Morgan and Reed enter 2016 as one of the top receiver duos in the conference, but Arkansas must replace Henry, quarterback Brandon Allen, running back Alex Collins, and three starters on the offensive line.
