Because they often fly under the radar, offensive lineman are likely underrepresented on our list of the Top 100 SEC football players for 2016. However, there is one bonafide star lineman that everyone should know: Alabama left tackle Cam Robinson.

Robinson has been a starter for the Crimson Tide since Day 1, and now has 29 career starts under his belt. While the 6-foot-6, 326-pound rising junior hasn’t been perfect through his first two seasons (he struggled to contain Clemson’s talented defensive line during the national title game), he’s still one of the most talented offensive linemen in the country and one of the top ten players in the league entering 2016. In fact, given the importance of the left tackle position, Robinson is one of the early favorites to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Robinson recorded 45 knockdowns for the Tide in 2015, which ranked second on the nation’s best unit, as determined by the voters of the Joe Moore Award. One of his biggest came in the championship game against the Tigers, when Robinson showed his elite athleticism for his size before unloading on Clemson safety T.J. Green.
