Jalen Ramsey is such an interesting prospect, especially with his size and skill set, giving him no position. Because of that, I see him as a long Tyrann Mathieu. Both have exceptional playmaking abilities, both without a true position. You could call it a hybrid defensive back, which could be the up-and-coming thing in the NFL, much like the hybrid linebacker/safety.

For now, I would peg him as a safety, simply because he has that natural instinct to the ball, comparable to the Honey Badger as well. His ability to play in the zone seems invaluable. Although his coverage skills took a huge step this season and his physical play at the line is next level as well. Add that with his length and he can be one of the best corners in the game.

If I could play general manager for the day with the Tennessee Titans, Ramsey would be my pick. He’s too rare of an athlete to pass up on. A playmaker like that has all the skills to come in and play immediately, where ever he is needed on the field. His combine results were off the charts as well, in case you needed any more verification.
