Week 6: BYU at Michigan State

Michigan State, which has some pieces to reload on both sides of the ball, is a team that will receive national attention after being a College Football Playoff participant last season. BYU is pretty loaded on each side of the ball, but will face its most daunting schedule in school history.

If each team enters the week with no more than two combined losses, look for the game to bring plenty of national attention as an intriguing non-conference matchup.

BYU seeks to make another statement against a Power Five opponent, and Michigan State looks to boost its strength of schedule before locking in on Big Ten Conference opponents. Overall, this is a very rare, solid matchup that GameDay should host.

Most of College GameDay will pick the Spartans to win, but I see Rece Davis or another host picking BYU.

Several other solid games for week six include Washington at Oregon, Florida State at Miami, and Texas vs Oklahoma.
