6. Ty Chandler

  • Nashville,  TN
  • 247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 111
  • Position Ranking: No. 6

Chandler is very good at creating his own lanes and keeping plays alive. When he cannot find any running room, he is very effective at bouncing to the outside and making something out of nothing. He also has the ability to get out into the open field and act as a receiver making him a two-pronged threat and something that defenses have trouble slowing down.

With 15 offers in total, Tennessee and Ole Miss appear to be the two frontrunners for Chandler’s services. He took an unofficial visit to the Vols and September and Ole Miss in November of last year, and he attended Tennessee’s Junior Day back on February 20. This month he attended an Ole Miss school camp on June 3 and visited the Vols on June 11, making it clear that he was focused on those two programs.

Where will he go? Tennessee is the most logical option. The Vols have a slew of running backs in the fold, and adding Chandler to the mix would give them one of the strongest running back corps in the SEC.

Prediction: Tennessee
