Atlantic Coast Conference

Contenders for the Cellar: Boston College Eagles, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Virginia Cavaliers

Pick For Last: Wake Forest Demon Deacons

2015 Record: 3-9, 1-7 ACC
2016 Prediction: 3-9, 1-7 ACC

While Boston College finished last in 2015, they look to be an improved team offensively this season and should move up a notch or two. The other team of awfulness in the ACC was Georgia Tech, and they were nowhere near as bad as their record would indicate.

The Cavs may actually pull an upset or two this year with new head coach Bronco Mendenhall correcting some of the mental mistakes that were so common for UVA, so that leaves Wake Forest and 3rd year man Dave Clawson at the helm.

The Deacs were average on defense and completely inept on offense last season, and little has been done to make any corrections. With the brutal ACC schedule Wake Forest has this year, it will be a miracle to see them win one game in conference.

This might be one of the first mid-season coach firings we see in 2016.
