Zach Terrell is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation that most college football fans have probably never heard of. Terrell was named second team Mac quarterback in 2015 after leading the Broncos to a 6-6 regular season record which gave way to a berth in the Bahamas Bowl, which Western Michigan won against Middle Tennessee, 45-31.
That bowl win was also Western Michigan’s first-ever bowl victory.
Terrell is back and considered to be the best quarterback in the Mac for 2016. Terrell will look to lead the Broncos to a MAC west division championship as well as a MAC championship. There will be good receiving weapons to help Terrell as well as support from a great ground game.
In order for the Broncos to get the best out of Terrell, they will need to protect him better than they did last season, as the offensive line gave up 31 sacks in 2015. Expect Zach Terrell to continue his progression as the top passer in the Mac and one of the top quarterbacks in the entire country.
