No. 8 TCU Horned Frogs

When I ranked  TCU second in my preseason power rankings, I didn’t anticipate it would have struggled against an FCS opponent to open the season–especially coming in as the No. 13 team in the country.

The Horned Frogs beat the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 59-41, but certainly had its struggles–especially on defense. TCU’s defense allowed 461 total yards, which is unacceptable in a league notorious for high-flying offenses. We saw several Big 12 teams step up defensively this weekend, so TCU needs to tighten it up.
