2. The Louisville Cardinals beat the Florida State Seminoles, but by only a few points.

Louisville vs. Florida State. Lamar Jackson vs. Deondre Francois. Jimbo Fisher vs. Bobby Petrino. Wow, this game has some major storylines to point out. Not only is this game a top-10 match up, but it puts both coaches, known for their bombastic ways, against each other. You have all heard the Bobby Petrine story, and no doubt some of you have seen or heard Jimbo Fisher do some weird things. But one thing both of these two coaches have in common is their name recognition. Although the nation remembers their names because of negative events, these coaches are indeed great coaches.

Bobby Petrino is a quarterback guru if you have ever seen one. He has taken Lamar Jackson, who has talent, and created a Heisman front-runner out of him. It is truly unbelieveable how good Jackson has been so far. Jumbo Fisher has been known to teach some quarterback in Tallahassee. Of course, everyone knows about Jameis Winston, but Deondre Francois has also played well to start the season. Coming back from down multiple possession, Francois kept his cool and led the team to victory on his shoulders. Which quarterback will shine this weekend? The answer will most likely predict the outcome of the game. Lamar Jackson hasn’t had any adversity yet, so look to see how he does under pressure.

Both of these defenses have work to do. Not only are they average to begin with, but each of them is going up against a top offense in the country. Expect this game to be high scoring, probably eclipsing the over/under, which is at 65 right now.

While Florida State is going to be a title contender soon, maybe even this year, Louisville will be too much for them to handle Saturday, winning by a small margin, in front of College Gameday.
