8. Georgia (3-0)

Last week rank: 7

Week 3 result: 28-27 win against Missouri

The win against Nicholls State is still damaging to Georgia, due to just how terrible they looked in that game, but a come from behind win in the final minute against Missouri does help make that go away.

Jacob Eason tossed a touchdown pass to Isiah Mckenzie with 1:31 to play and on fourth down no less, to get out of Columbia, Missouri with a victory over the hometown Tigers. Georgia still seems somewhat lackluster at times but still manages to pull these games out. They slip in the rankings, due to other teams, but Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason continues to improve and Georgia appears to be headed in the right direction, we’ll know more after the Ole Miss game.

Georgia survived and now heads on the road to Oxford, Mississippi to take on a struggling Ole Miss team.

Next game: September 24, at Ole Miss, 12:00pm ET ESPN
