Texas A&M gave up a late touchdown to Arkansas and then quickly scored to make it 17-17 at halftime in the neutral-site game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Aggies will end up here if they manage to pull off the victory over their fellow Top 25 opponent, but if Arkansas should happen to win they will likely drop below the Razorbacks somewhere in the 15-to-18 range.

Kevin Sumlin’s team has already claimed wins over UCLA and Auburn, but they still have plenty of tests on their schedule. Tennessee visits Kyle Field in two weeks, and then Texas A&M turns right around and has to head to Tuscaloosa to face Alabama the following week. Ole Miss comes to College Station on November 12, and the Aggies close the season with LSU at home. The fact that most of their toughest tests are at home is advantageous for A&M, but they still have a long road ahead to threaten for the SEC West.
