The first half, as it has most of the season, did not look pretty for Tennessee, but the Volunteers got it together and beat Florida for the first time in 11 seasons.

Josh Dobbs finally put together a great game and looked like one of the better quarterbacks in the country in the second half of the game. Tennessee needed this win to finally prove that this team was a force to be reckoned with and that they could compete for championships. Tennessee proved that on Saturday. Injuries have hurt the defense but they still appear to be more than capable of helping lead the team to the SEC Championship game and possibly more.

Tennessee still needs to play a complete game. The first half play against Appalachian State, Virginia Tech and now Florida is still concerning and has to be addressed.

Next game: October 1 at Georgia, 3:30pm ET CBS
