The Miami Hurricanes are still third in the power rankings but it’s not so bad remaining steady at the top. They are now ranked number 10 in the AP Poll as well.

The Hurricanes used two defensive touchdowns of the fumble variety to pull away from the Yellow Jackets when they needed to. They had three turnovers in the game. Miami won despite the Yellow Jackets holding the ball for a time of possession of 39:54. The Yellow Jackets outgained the Hurricanes 361-355 total yards of offense as well.

The Hurricanes boast the number 1 scoring defense in the FBS, which will be needed this week against Florida State.

This Week: Florida State

The Miami Hurricanes face the Seminoles this week and look to snap a six-game losing streak. Head coach Mark Richt and company should be prepared, rivalry games are where he flourishes.
