College Football Rankings 2016: Projected AP Top 25 after Week 7
By Zach Bigalke
Arkansas survived against Ole Miss to move to 5-2 on the season, forcing a late Chad Kelly fumble to preserve the victory on Saturday. Rawleigh Williams III led a potent effort by the Razorbacks on the ground, finishing with 180 rushing yards. Austin Allen was efficient, throwing for 229 yards and three touchdowns against the Rebels secondary. The Razorbacks dominated time of possession, holding the ball for more than 40 minutes, and came through on defense when it counted most.
The Razorbacks turn right around and play another Top 25 next weekend when they travel to the Plains to take on Auburn. After playing the Tigers, Arkansas gets a bye week before opening November play at home against Florida. LSU comes to Fayetteville for the home finale on November 12, and then the season concludes with winnable road games at Mississippi State and Missouri. The SEC West is probably out of reach, but they could still head to their first New Year’s Six game since the 2012 Cotton Bowl if they keep winning.
