College Football Week 7 Power Rankings
By Elias Arnett
For the first time in 15 years Nebraska has started the season 6-0. It didn’t come easy Saturday night in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers were looking for another win against a ranked opponent in Memorial Stadium, and they almost came close. Nebraska smacked Indiana in the mouth in the first quarter after leading 17-0, but they were held scoreless in the second and third quarter to give IU a shot.
Stanley Morgan Jr. took advantage of two IU safeties running into each other, and scurried for a 72-yard touchdown. They also caught a break from the referees, as it seemed like Terrell Newby did fumble, but it was ruled otherwise.
If the Cornhuskes want to continue their winning streak, their quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. has to be better. He only completed only 10 of his 26 passes and threw for two interceptions.
It only gets tougher for Nebraska from here on out. They have a generous matchup in Purdue this week, but then they travel to Wisconsin and Ohio State in the following weeks.
Some are wondering how good this Nebraska team actually is, and we’re going to find that out soon enough.
