Just like Texas A&M, Washington is coming off a bye and finds themselves in the same ranking as they did last week.

Can the Huskies really make the College Football Playoff? If their quarterback Jake Browning keeps up this pace of play, they just might. Browning has thrown for 1,418 yards and 23 touchdowns with a 204.9 rating. Pretty damn good. But what’s his best stat on the season?

Just two interceptions.

Everyone knows that if you don’t turn the ball over you will more likely than not find yourself with chances to win the game. Turnovers are killers, on the field and mentally. But Browning has 23 touchdown passes with just two interceptions? It’s doesn’t get much better than that.

If Washington wants any chance of making the College Football Playoff they have to win out. There’s no way that the voters will put in a one-loss Washington team over a one-loss Ohio State or Michigan.

The rest of the schedule looks rather favorable for the Huskies, with their toughest game most likely coming in two weeks when they travel to Utah.

Right now not many people are sitting on their couches thinking that the Washington Huskies will find their way to the College Football Playoff, but it will be extremely interesting to see how things unravel here in the next couple of weeks.
