A bye week came last week for the Michigan Wolverines, so Jim Harbaugh and company find themselves back at three for this weeks power rankings. Michigan will continue to be on the radar of everyone. Ever since Jim Harbaugh came to Michigan, there has been a different vibe with this team. There’s no question about that. And I know everyone is looking forward to the last week of the season when it’s Harbaugh vs. Meyer, but that is still many weeks away.

It’s important for this team to not get ahead of themselves, and I highly doubt that Harbaugh would allow that to happen. This upcoming week Illinois comes to Ann Arbor before Michigan goes to East Lansing the next.

After last year, if it wasn’t proved to people already, anything can happen when it’s Michigan vs. State. Then the Wolverines still have to travel to Iowa, and then have Indiana at home before their matchup against the Buckeyes.

All is good right now in Ann Arbor, but there is still a lot to prove in the upcoming weeks.

Next Matchup: Illinois
