He may have been rusty, but the return of Luke Del Rio was surely a good sight for many Florida fans. While he didn’t play particularly well with 3 interceptions, Del Rio will be counted on during the stretch run for the Gators.

The Gator offense was okay this past weekend, as the Gators blew out Missouri. Luckily the offense wasn’t exactly needed as the defense for Florida was the star of this game. The Florida defense made plays all over, as the Gators returned two interceptions for touchdowns on Saturday, and never allowed Missouri to be in this game. Florida already had 20 points before the first Missouri touchdown was scored.

Florida will have to improve on offense, but Del Rio had missed 3 weeks and was understandably rusty. At 5-1, Florida still has a shot at winning the SEC East, despite the early loss to Tennessee.
