The Washington Redskins could definitely strengthen the defense in this year’s draft. Ohio State linebacker Raekwon McMillan comes off the board in this week’s mock draft as the 16th pick.

The Redskins defense could use another linebacker to compliment Ryan Kerrigan. The defense has been as stout since the departure of current Titans linebacker Brian Orakpo.

The junior linebacker out of Ohio State has 206 tackles, 13.5 for loss, four sacks and seven pass breakups in college. He is first on the Buckeyes in tackles so far this season. McMillan is solid in zone defense and against the run. His size and speed make him a difficult athlete to block. He’ll need to learn to trust his defensive teammates as well as he’s known to bite on fake/read options.
