Alabama. Marlon Humphrey. 30. player. 54. . CB

The Philadelphia Eagles draft defense in this week’s mock draft. This pick comes from the Minnesota Vikings.

They draft Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey, a huge upgrade to the secondary.

The Eagles passing defense allows 225.2 passing yards per game, 26th in the NFL, and 338.8 total yards per game, 22nd in the NFL. Humphrey changes things in the secondary in a number of ways. He’s very physical in man coverage and a good tackler.

He’s got 62 tackles, 11 pass break ups, four interceptions, and three forced fumbles in two seasons so far with the Crimson Tide. Humphrey gives the Eagles some youth and athleticism on the cornerback position.
