Big Ten Football: Week 7 Power Rankings
2. Michigan
Week 7 result – DNP
Michigan took a week off before they start an easy stretch of schedule. Until they play Ohio State Week 14, the Wolverines don’t have any games that will impress the NCAA.
At this point in the season, it’s time for Michigan to turn it up. I know, it’s harder to turn it up more than 78-0. That has to be their mindset, though. Each game should be a blowout. Not a 24-7 blowout, a 50-0 blowout. If you let yourself ease up for a minute, Ohio State will take advantage of it.
Honestly, Michigan vs. Ohio State would be the college football championship any college football fan would love to see. It isn’t likely, but if their Week 14 matchup is tightly contested, the playoff committee may just put them both in the top four.
