Week 7 result – 54-40 loss to Northwestern

Michigan State has officially become the most disappointing team of 2016. Even with a few easy games remaining on their schedule, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they don’t win another game.

No one knows what happened to a team with college football playoff potential, but it’s not pretty and certainly not easy for the Spartans.

This team looks awful. Michigan State better hope that a season this dreadful doesn’t effect their recruiting classes of the future. Because it doesn’t look good for future players when you give up the most points in the history of your home career against Northwestern.

This team better do something before the future of the program starts taking blows.
