Big 12 Football: Week 11 Power Rankings
By VF Castro
5. Kansas State Wildcats (Record: 5-4)
Bill Snyder knows how to coach; he’s a national treasure, and you honestly have to wonder just how many years he has left before he hangs up his clipboard one last time. With that said, it has to be disheartening for Kansas State fans, as the Wildcats just can’t seem to finish games they have every opportunity to win.
Quarterback Jesse Ertz threw for just 88 yards and an interception against Oklahoma State two weeks ago. While he was limited in the air, his numbers went into the run game, where he finished with 153 yards rushing for three touchdowns. If Kansas State can find ways to spread the football more, complete drives (particularly in the second half), and limit explosive plays, the Wildcats could very easily beat Baylor, and win out.
