What happened to ‘Last Chance U’ Season 2 star Chauncey Rivers?
Defensive End, Mississippi State
After his only year in Scooba, Miss., Rivers took his talents 58 miles up US-45 to Starkville to join Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Mullen actually knows Rivers pretty well. They recruited him when he was a four-star high school player. Once again Rivers will be a Bulldog, just a bulldog in the SEC West.
Rivers comes into camp with a real chance to make a big impact immediately as a starter. The Bulldogs really need help getting after the quarterback. Last year, the Bulldogs only had 25 sacks. As a JUCO player at EMCC, Rivers led his team with eight.
The only thing holding Rivers back is himself. He has overcome his early adversity and he now returns back to the SEC. He will have top-notch facilities and even better coaching from Brian Baker. He has coached many elite pass rushers like Julius Peppers, DeMarcus Ware and Ryan Kerrigan.

Chauncey Rivers will be a name you hear when college football kicks off this yeas as he has the talent to produce right away.
