Piecing together the perfect 2017 Fantasy College Football team
The tight end position is not as deep as it normally is in most years. Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki is the best at his position in the entire country. There are a few other tight ends who will be drafted higher in upcoming NFL Drafts than Gesicki, but he’s the best at the college level.
We’ll see how Gesicki meshes with the talented receiving corps in Happy Valley this year. Receivers like Saeed Blacknall and DeAndre Thompkins should spread the field for Gesicki to get looks right down the hearts of opposing defenses.
At 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, Gesicki is a huge matchup problem for defenses to account for. Gesicki should be able to take advantage of just how good Penn State’s offense will be this year. Between Trace McSorley, Saquon Barkley, and Gesicki, the Nittany Lions have assembled themselves quite the arsenal of stars on offense.
In a different year, Gesicki might not be the best option here but we got what we got. Gesicki is still a solid option for any Fantasy team.
