Clemson Tigers

2006 impact player: Charlie Whitehurst, QB #6, 93 overall
Today: WR Deon Cain, DT Christian Wilkins

Charlie Whitehurst, aka No Touchdowns Jesus, was plagued with interceptions in college and wasn’t worth the 93 rating. Charlie then grew his hair out, and a beard, and looked like a homeless dude in Seattle that “is in a band” but can’t catch a break.

Clemson lost a lot of firepower but returns Deon Cain, one of the nations most explosive receivers. Cain is on every All-ACC preseason list and for good reason; in 2016 he averaged 19.1 yards per catch and scored nine touchdowns. The new Clemson quarterback, whoever Dabo finally tabs, will have a deep threat ready for him.

Christian Wilkins had an outstanding sophomore season. In 2016 he logged 48 tackles, 13 TFL, and 3.5 sacks at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds. Wilkins is a pre-season All-ACC player and should be an early NFL pick if he comes out early.
