ACC Football: 5 teams on upset alert in Week 3

The Syracuse Orange were put on upset alert one week ago, and it proved to be for good reason. They fell short of a good Middle Tennessee team that knocked them off by a score of 30-23 in the Carrier Dome.

This week, Syracuse faces another tough Group of Five opponent in the Central Michigan Chippewas. Last week, Central Michigan knocked off another Power Five conference opponent in the Kansas Jayhawks, when they entered the game as underdogs.

Central Michigan is a team that has become known for knocking off Power Five competition. Last year, they defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a game that went horribly wrong for the Pokes.

This could be another big disappointment for quarterback Eric Dungey and the Syracuse football program. They do need to get it together for ACC play starts.
