Bold prediction: The Louisville offense turns the ball over four times. What happened to the Cardinals after losing to Clemson last season? With the ACC title out of reach they began the slow fade, eventually being routed by LSU in a forgettable bowl defeat. This might not be the beginning of the end, but the emotional hangover is going from another big-game loss is going to make for a messy game for Bobby Petrino’s squad on Saturday.

Bold prediction: Nevada forces overtime. On paper, Washington State should easily walk away with a victory in the game. But there’s something about Mike Leach that ignores expectations. Luke Falk is in the midst of an up and down season and Saturday is going to be a down. That’s not a great sign for a team about to enter Pac-12 play.

Bold prediction: Nick Fitzgerald leads a game winning fourth down touchdown drive. Just like we all expected, Mississippi State is going to be a top 10 football team following their Week 4 win over Georgia. It’s not unheard of for UGA to falter in big games. However, it’s not like anyone expected Dan Mullen‘s team to be featured in one of those big games either, much less for the Georgia defense to be the unit that fails down the stretch.

Bold prediction: TCU scores one offensive touchdown. The Horned Frogs are a good football team and the Big 12 is known for 100-point shootouts. The Horned Frogs are averaging two turnovers per game. Once they start coming and Oklahoma State jumps out to a sizable early lead that will force TCU quarterback Kenny Hill to start chucking the ball down field. History shows us that situation won’t end favorably for the Horned Frogs.
