Bold prediction: Auburn racks up 700 yards. Two weeks ago the Tigers had National Championship aspirations. A loss to Clemson and a sloppy win over Mercer have turned the hopes of the program a bit sour. The guys in the locker room are not going to let that linger. Jarrett Stidham will have a good afternoon, but the Auburn Tigers will stick to their bread and butter as they obliterate their first SEC opponent.

Bold prediction: The Hurricanes tally seven sacks. Toledo is a trendy upset pick this week, and for good reason. Miami has been off the football field for two weeks and the Canes didn’t exactly look incredible in their opening win over Bethune Cookman. However, the Miami linebacker corps is one of the best in the nation and they’re going to live in the backfield on Saturday.

Bold prediction: Virginia Tech trails at half time. Miami has been off, Pittsburgh is 1-2 and the Hokies look to be in prime position for an ACC Coastal Division championship. With Clemson looming next weekend their Week 4 game against the Old Dominion Monarchs screams trap game. It’s an early kick, the fans will be slowly wandering in and the Hokies will have yet another slow start.

Bold prediction: Florida State falls to 0-2.  The Seminoles’ defense played admirably against Alabama in their Week 1 defeat, but the loss of starting quarterback Deondre Francois is going to make the offense one-dimensional. That’s going to be a problem because the North Carolina State defense is a tough out. The Wolfpack are allowing 88 rushing yards per game and will shut down the Seminoles’ offense completely in route to the upset at home.
