Bold prediction: The quarterback controversy begins. Not many programs have a Jake Fromm sitting behind their starter, ready to come in and save the day. Fromm’s struggles in a loss to Mississippi State will start the rumor mill churning, putting Kirby Smart in a tough spot, which Jake does he choose? Either way, it’s not the problem he wants to be in as he has to explain why Georgia stumbled once again in a big game.

Bold prediction: J.T. Barrett throws for two touchdowns of over 30 yards. After the Oklahoma debacle many people in the sport’s media were calling for Barrett’s job. The criticism’s were largely based on Barrett’s inaccuracy  and lack of a deep passing game. This week he proves he still has the deep ball in his repertoire.

Bold prediction: Wilton Speight finally gets benched. I had faith in Wilton Speight. I’m sorry. After the first three games of the 2017 season  Speight owns a 54.5 completion percentage and a 3:2 touchdown to interception ratio. Purdue is better than most expected and another pick six is the last straw for head coach Jim Harbaugh. John O’Korn relieves Speight midgame and has a couple of touchdowns passes of his own.
