WR. Florida State. WIDE RECEIVERS. B.

We could really separate this grade between  Auden Tate, who would earn an A, and the rest of the  Seminole wide receivers, who would earn a C.

It’s too bad Tate got hurt in this one. He was having a terrific game and could have made an even bigger impact had he remained healthy. Tate finished the day with nine receptions, 138 yards and hauling in the Seminoles lone touchdown.

In fact, Tate has the Seminoles only two touchdowns on the season. He was also developing some nice chemistry with quarterback James Blackman before his exit. Florida State better hope his injury is not too serious.

With Tate accounting for 138 yards, the rest of the receivers combined for 140 yards. George Campbell, Tate’s replacement, accounted for three receptions for 85 yards, 60 coming on one catch. However, that really is the only other stat of note.

The tight ends were non existent in catching passes and they did not do a good job in pass protection either given that the team gave up four sacks and Blackman was pressured most of the afternoon.
