Rosier struggled in the first half but really turned it around after halftime. In his second start of 2017 and only the third of his career, Rosier made real strides and showed why Mark Richt put his faith in him to be the starter.

After having a long touchdown run called back, Rosier stayed calm and collected and threw a strike to Mike Harley on third and long to keep the drive alive. It would lead to a Travis Homer touchdown which have Miami the lead again midway through the third quarter.

Rosier has showed very good accuracy so far this year, on the day he completed 27-of-36 attempts for a 75 percent clip. On the season he is completing 68.8 percent of his passes and looks more and more comfortable in the pocket.

Where Rosier has really made himself even more of a weapon is on the ground. After only running twice in Week 1, although he amassed 65 yards on just two carries with a touchdown, against Toledo he ran eight times for 52 yards and a score.

Rosier is the dual threat quarterback that can really beat you in both aspects at any time, however he looks even better in the pocket than advertised. If he continues to make good decisions and accurate throws, when he does scramble it can be even more effective. Look for Miami to continue utilizing Rosier’s running ability to keep opposing defenses off balance.
