Bold prediction: SDSU wins by 20. Northern Illinois is not a pushover. They walked into Lincoln, Nebraska and upset the Cornhuskers in Week 3. Still, the Aztecs are that good. Rashaad Penny not reaching the 200-yard mark last weekend was shocking, so expect the San Diego State to come out firing on all cylinders behind their workhorse back.

Bold prediction: Quinton Flowers completes less than 10 passes. The Heisman hype for Flowers officially dies this weekend. He’s carried the ball at least 15 times in each of the Bulls’ first four contests but the passing game has been flat. Against Temple he completed eight passes for 96 yards. Another dud performance through the air in Week 5 drops the still undefeated Bulls off the national radar.

Bold prediction: Lamar Jackson throws for 400 yards. How have people already forgotten that this guy won the Heisman trophy last year? A win over Murray State isn’t going to garner him much more respect, but his added focus on becoming a pocket passer gets a boost this week. He’s come close to breaking the 400-yard mark a few times this year. This time he gets it.

Bold prediction: The Cougars lead USC at halftime. Washington State was the perfect landing spot for Mike Leach. He’s up in the northwest, away from the national attention and gets to do his own thing. Well, at least until his defense gives Sam Darnold fits. Luke Falk looks to be the better passer for most of this game.
