Bold prediction: Mason Rudolph creates seven touchdowns. He might not be Lamar Jackson, but Rudolph does have three rushing touchdowns this season. Whether by the ground or through the air, Rudolph takes out all of his frustrations from the Cowboys’ home loss to TCU against a Red Raider defense that is porous at best.

Bold prediction: Mark Walton rushes for 140 yards. Walton hasn’t eclipsed 140 yards in each of the Hurricanes’ first two games. But Bethune-Cookman and Toldeo don’t have the rushing defense of Duke. The Blue Devils lead the ACC in rushing defense, giving up less than 66 yards per game. A big game against a front seven that tough will put the rest of the conference on notice.

Bold prediction: Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson each rush for 100 yards. The Auburn rushing duo that terrorized the SEC last season hasn’t clicked yet this year. Against Mississippi State the Tigers ride the hot hands in the backfield to a big day and their first SEC West win of the season.

Bold prediction: Cam Phillips is held just three receptions for less than 30 yards. The Hokies’ have depended on their senior wide receiver to move the chains this season. Through four games he’s averaging just over eight catches and 130 yards per game. The Clemson defense has been able to shut down every facet of their opponents’ games so far and that continues with a dominant defensive performance against the Hokies.
