SPECIAL TEAMS . B. . ST. Louisville

Kicker Blanton Creque has been perfect in field goal attempts — 9-for-9 with a long of 48 yards. Having a kicker that has been automatic so far this season is a weapon for this high-powered offense.

Punter Mason King has been solid. In 19 punts, he averages 42.7 yards per punt, has had seven fair caught, four inside the 20 and three of 50 yards or more. King also hasn’t had any blocked.

The punt return department has been average at best. The unit averages 6.8 yards a return, but they cover punts very well only averaging 2.6 yards a punt return that is a credit to the punter and the unit.

Reggie Bonnafon is the teams best punt returner at 9.3 yards a return with a long of 33 yards on four opportunities.

Kick returns have been solid the unit averages 21.3 yards a return. Seth Dawkins is the teams leading returns with an average of 22.8 yards a return with a long of 43 yards on nine returns. The kickoff coverage has been shaky giving up one touchdown for 94 yards, teams currently average 20.5 yards a return.

Besides the one touchdown given up and not getting much of a punt return this unit has been pretty good.
