ACC Football Power Rankings: No change at the top in Week 12

Even in defeat, Boston College continued to show growth towards the future.
The Eagles hung tough with NC State, letting a late lead slip through the cracks.
Freshman running back AJ Dillon had his second consecutive 100-yard game and the fourth of his season, going for 196 on 36 carries. That included the first score of the game, a 66-yard run.
The Eagles (5-5, 3-4 ACC) look for win No. 6 this Saturday vs. Connecticut before closing at Syracuse.
After competing two weeks ago vs. Miami for the division title, Virginia Tech now finds themselves fighting for runner-up honors.
The Hokies (7-3, 3-3 ACC) dropped behind Georgia Tech for second in the Coastal division after a 17-14 loss this past Saturday night.
Virginia Tech, which was an outside contender for the College Football Playoff, finishes out the year with Pittsburgh and at Virginia.

Georgia Tech rebounded from a loss at Virginia two weeks ago, as quarterback Taquon Marshall accounted for four touchdowns. As a team, Georgia Tech ran for 261 yards and held the Hokies to just 105.
The Yellow Jackets (5-4, 4-3 ACC) close out league play at Duke next Saturday before facing Georgia at home.
On the heels of a win over Boston College, the Wolfpack find themselves at No. 3 this week in the power rankings. Nyheim Hines ran for 110 yards and scored a touchdown, with Bradley Chubb recording 2.5 sacks on defense.
As a team, the Wolfpack had five sacks and 12 total tackles for loss.
Gone is NC State’s (7-3, 5-1 ACC) chance to compete for the league title, but they can still finish strong, as they will be favored in games with Wake Forest and North Carolina over the final two weekends.
