Gary MacIntyre will need to use this bye week to put together a good game plan to beat Utah in their final game of the season. Next week is a crucial game if Colorado hopes to make a bowl game in consecutive seasons since 2004-05. The Buffaloes need to be more explosive on offense and stop turning the ball over to get a win next week.

The Utes started off the season on fire, but seemed to fall by the wayside when sophomore quarterback Tyler Huntley was injured. Utah just hasn’t found their rhythm and has only been able to find one win since Sept. 23 against Arizona. The Utes can finish the season 7-5 and guarantee a bowl game and spot in the top-eight of the Pac-12 power rankings if they cane get the next two wins against Washington and Colorado.

Cal has slowed significantly since their hot 3-0 start to the season. Before the season started if you had told Cal fans that Justin Wilcox would have this team one win away from bowl eligibility with two games left they would have signed up for that. Neither game will be easy but they have already knocked off Washington State this year so anything is possible.
