ACC Football Power Rankings: Miami, Clemson hold firm at top

An upset bid by Virginia came up short last week, as Miami claimed a 44-28 decision. The Hurricanes scored the final 30 points of the game. For Virginia, Kurt Benkert threw for 384 yards and four touchdowns.

The Cavaliers finish the regular season at home Friday night vs. Virginia Tech.

It wasn’t MIami or Clemson, but the Seminoles looked like the Florida State of old in a 71-point victory over Delaware State.

FSU tied a school record for points in the first half with 56. James Blackman threw three touchdown passes and Ryan Green had 96 yards and two scores on just seven carries.

The Seminoles look for win No. 5 against Florida this week in Gainesville.

Lamar Jackson put on a show in what might be his final home game, as Louisville walked all over Syracuse. Jackson, the reigning Heisman winner, threw for 270 yards and two scores, rushing for another 111 and a touchdown. Malik Williams added 180 yards and two scores on the ground.

The Cardinals finish out the year at in-state rival Kentucky this Saturday.

In one of the biggest ACC upsets of the season, Duke stunned Georgia Tech, 43-20.

Taquon Marshall was able to run for 140 yards, but he had just three completions and threw an interception. The Blue Devils, meanwhile, ran for 319 yards against the Georgia Tech defense.

The Yellow Jackets meet SEC foe Georgia this Saturday.
